If it were me, I'd go for natural thyroid because I don't convert synthetic T4 all that well. You'll have to work that out with your doctor. You don't look particularly low on FT3.

Here's info on the TPO test:

I'm thinking natural...but since I am not low on t3 I might need to go the synthryoid route....will be interesting what endo says

MBCS, I see you're in MASS - if you'd like one of the better thyroid doctors as your PCP / Specialist, check out Dr. Wedda. (http://www.personalbestpersonaltraining.com/bev_wedda.html) I know a number of patients who see her - she's phenonmenal. Getting a good doctor is next to impossible when it comes to thyroid.

FWIW, if you have TPO antibodies, you have autoimmune thyroid disease, you are NOT subclinical - you're primary waiting to happen.

I just got back test results. Thyroid Peroxidase is 1000 and I've been on the natural Armour. My T3 is 202 and my doctor says I'm okay. It's so frustrating to find an endocronologist who really listens.
