I noticed swelling right at the base of my neck. Is this some typical hypothyroid thing?

It can be. If it is it means that your thyroid is enlarging to try to produce more hormones because you don't have enough. Is this new?

Yes, I could never see, what I think is my thyroid before.

You should probably see a doctor about it rule out nastier things than hypoT. Do you have symptoms of hypoT still?

The only symptom I have is total lethargy. I can just lay on my bed all day! I never go out anywhere, I keep thinking I'll go next week. But I've been losing weight. I can't get anything out of my temp it bounces around more than 1 degree in the morning. I'm going to try after my period and see if it settles down.

Hi Nawchem  - long time no post! :)
If your temp is bouncing around that much, it may be that you have adrenal issues as well as thyroid ones. Erratic BBTs are a sign of adrenal fatigue. Here's a link:

Thanks Katy :) that plot does like my temperature. I guess I'll take my temp a few weeks and get into see the doctor, I guess something is going on.
