Today I went to buy lunch and as i was walking to the checkout i accidently walked down the chocolate aisle!!!!! I thought well i haven't cheated so far and i've been working so damn hard even though i haven't lost in two weeks that i'll get a flake which is 18.6g. i thought this is my treat and that will be that. but after i ate that i wanted more. My friend went to the chemist so i went with her and i stood next to the chocolate stand (again purely by accident) and i was tempted :tears:. I got a small pack of maltesers, a kinder crispy hippo thingy and a milky way. I am so mad at myself that I don't want to have dinner as this will make it worse. What can i do this is the first time i've cheated but it set off major cravings. now i'm locked in my room trying not to think about it but it's been bugging me since lunchtime. Please help me. What do you think the damage might be?

Lucy-
forget it, drink tons of water, eat on plan today and forgive yourself. Think about what made you want the chocolate did you not drink much water that day, did you eat a trigger food? one slip isnt going to mess up everything just bounce back!
Good luck!

Like holly said forget it.This is a way of life.If you view it as a diet you'll start thinking i've blown it,and eat worse. If you view it as a way of life your slip up was just one day.Life goes on. Pick yourself up,and go eat a hamburger patty.lol I was the worlds worst about thinking i've blown it now, I might as well eat what I want till I start again, because I was viewing it as a diet.

I know this is a WOL but I had wanted to make my target for late August which doesn't seem as promiseable as it did before. Every day I'm getting further and further away from actually reaching this goal. Damn i just wanted to look good in a bikini lol!!!

its hardly unlikely you'll loose 25 pounds by the end of August. You didnt gain weight overnignt, you wont loose it overnight. Also the closer you get to your goal the slower you'll loose weight.
Dont stress so much.

As the others have said......forget it and move on, start day one of induction and now you know you cannot cheat and find it easy to continue.
Im exactly the same, I havent been able to cheat at all, or I know I will blow it big time.
So find things you can eat.....get low carb chocolate. some of its really nice.
As doctor phil says....a yr is going to pass no matter what you do, so if most of the time you stick to it, your going to be closer towards your goal weight. If you stop, you will be further away, its your choice where you wanna be in a yr..
dont forget all the good you have done already, and keep it up!!!!
All the best
Fiona
