This might sound a bit weird but I completed day one of Induction yesterday and today my tummy has been gigling like mad! Even my cats keep looking around me to find out what's going on!

I thought drinking water might help keep them at bay - but, no. I've eaten already and they're not causing me any discomfort, they're just sooooo loud! And continuous. :q:

Any ideas would be great before work again tomorrow hehe.

I'll never forget when I was in high school (a LONG time ago....) a biology teacher told us that when our stomach growled and made noises it was actually our bowels doing 'their thing'. Now, I've no idea if he was telling the truth or not. But since you are new on induction, and if you've been eating fresh veggies, that may be the cause of the sounds.

I guess another question would be if you are gassy. If so, then I'd say it's bowel related for sure.

Just my thoughts.... :)

Lol that would be a great explanation except I've already 'been' ... maybe 2 hrs ago. No gas. And I'm usually (even high carb) and once or twice a weeker anyway. I know, TMI, but thought it was relevant hehe.

I just had a boiled egg then and some more water. It stopped while I was eating but I finished a couple of minutes ago and it's doing it again! I'm just mystified!

I think its just gas, mine did the same thing, and I was eating lots of eggs and veggies in the beginning. Your body will even out and the next day or so, so you will be fine. Tell the kitties you ate a mouse, and it is trying to get out! It will drive them nuts!

ROFLOL!!!!

I find I get the tummy rumbles when I eat sugar alcohols in any amount. If I have those fake chocolate bars, I am guaranteed to do the stomach serenade for the next several hours.

Probably just the change of diet. Over the past thirty years I've switched to all kinds of diet plans and that rumbling seems to happen each time. Whe I turned into a neanderthal about two months ago it happened again, for a few days. Now I can't hear anything, but you have to make sure the rodents are dead :)

When I first went LC about a year ago, I had exactly what you described. It lasted about 3 months. No pain, but really loud! My doctor said that my body was working harder breaking down the protein than it did with the carbs. It will go away, but I didn't find anything that minimized it. Sorry! :) LK
