I have a question.... with regard to protein and fats... and then cooking them?
Is there any rule or general principle regarding how we cook our foods. For example: Bacon, can we fry it in a pan on the stove or should we microwave it? Can we hot fry foods on the stove or are we supposed to bake, broil etc. using creams, cheeses, spices etc?
Thanks..

A lot of what I eat is shallow fried on the stove. It is quick, easy and nice and hot in this cold weather.
When I have time I steam my vegetables (say broccoli and cauliflour) and then put lots of butter on when they are on my plate - lovvvvvve watching that butter melt.
Good Luck.

well I am not sure what plan you want to follow so can't say if it is allowed in your plan or not. As for Atkins butter is encouraged!!!! Atkins is a high fat eating plan so you have to have it in your diet everyday to lose weight.

Except you're new, so maybe you're not. Butter (and cream, and salad dressings, and interesting meats, and .... ) is one of the major reasons the LC WOE works!! Satisfaction, satiation, and never having to be hungry again!
If you're not clear on the concept, you might want to read one of the books--DANDR is where I started.
Good luck.
