I'm puzzled. For the last two weeks my sugar hasn't been over 120 and I haven't changed what I'm eating. So why was my sugar today not even below 135? I'm drinking the same amount of water, eating the same carb amounts as I normally do, the only thing different is my TOM ended on Sunday. Would that do anything to my sugar level? Thanks If so, it would be the first time.

I know it makes a BIG difference for me, but then it has right from the start. Look at other things you've been doing too..such as...are you exercising the same amount, getting sleep, taking same vitamins and minerals, feeling under the weather, headaches? I find that any of these, plus a whole lot more can cause changes in blood sugar for me without changing food. Diabetes would be so much easier to handle if we just had to worry about food and exercise, but unfortunately so much more can affect it.

My exercising and sleep are the same, I'm well, and I take the same vitamins at the same time every day (I'm OCD, incase you are curious). No headaches, so you see why I'm puzzled. Usually my sugar is low right after TOM. I did do some online researching so once I read it all I'll post what I found out.

It makes a definite difference for me although I tend to run higher just before and during TOM with a return to my normal readings within a few days after TOM ends.

I found this site: click here (http://www.diabetesselfmanagement.com/article.cfm?sid=1&tid=29&stid=50&aid=522&sk=5WZ5)
My sugar finally went back to normal levels in the afternoon. Maybe that's when TOM finally left  Today my sugar is lower than ever, I'm between 100 and 110
