I've had so much going on lately that I pretty much have just eaten whatever & whenever. I told my husband that today is the day for a new beginning, so I'm starting over again and I've going to cut out the carbs. I've got roughly 6 weeks before my next Dr. appointment, so I'm going to work hard at cutting the carbs and losing some weight, so that my numbers will be line with where that had been on my last visit.

As for exercise, I haven't been to Curves in a few weeks, but it isn't like I've been just sitting around doing nothing. This week I've painted the ceiling in my bedroom, as well as the walls, plus I removed the carpet and padding & sealed the hardwood floors that were underneath the carpet. Basically, I've worked my hiney off this week, so I consider that exercise.

I will say that I have been shopping, so I know I've got plenty of things that I can eat that are low carb, so that shouldn't be a problem. My husband is for this change and is willing to help me out with this, plus he knows it will be good for him too! I know that my downfall will be fruit, as I just love fruit, especially when it's really hot outside!

I know that everyone here knows how it feels to fall off the wagon and have to start over again. Wish me luck, as tomorrow I will be traveling all day and that is never a good thing!

Here's to a low carb day and climbing back onto the seat of the wagon and taking control!

with diabetes you always go through periods of starting over..though you feel awfull when you fall off the wagon...you remind yourself of that point..but you always repeat it..
