I've always had a quirky thyroid, but in the last month my symptoms of Hypothroidism has increased alot. My sugar is lowering from 160-135 but its still not at normal. Also I'm seeing my doctor on Friday. What things could I ask her to check or what should I say? Thanks!

i have always noticed that alot of diabetics also have hypothyroidism. i was told by my endo doc the best way to test for hypothyroidism is not by checking the blood for TSH but also for checking the T3 and T4 in the blood lab work.
my niece has hypothyroid and they kept testing her TSH levels and it always showed as normal until she complained enough they finaly checked her T3 and T4.
its all so much to handle. good luck

As far as I know, no, there's no connection between the two. But thyroid does affect pretty much everything in the body, so maybe there is.
