hellow everyone, i need help on any suggestions on kinds of workouts to do to lose belly fat, im at a normal weight now and everywhere else on my body is fine but my belly is the big problem, its ALL FLABBY and ive tried everything to lose it!! after losing 50 pounds on the atkins diet, exercising 6 times a week for at least 45 min and nothing seems to work! sure its gotten smaller obviously after losing 50 pounds but its still verry flabby and grabable..lol..and its not lose skin or anything, its stubborn fat i guess and i have no idea what to do, am i maybe being impatient?..i changed my workout routine up a little bit recently, i used to do about 45 min or core secrets videos(with the exercise ball) they are for toning mainly, and i used to do some cardio on the weekends but recently ive started soing JUST cardio because 6 times a week because i figured it would burn the fat, only not ive been exercising mostly about 30-45 min and on the weekends i might do about an hour or so, i started doing only cardio about 2 1/2-3 weeks ago i think, am i doing the right thing?..should i incorporate some ab workouts or will that only build muscle underneath the fat?..and how long should it take doing cardio to see results? thaks for any input anyone has, its just really frustrating because i already basically reached my goal and i still have a flabby tummy and i want it to be flat and toned, or how bout pilates?..lol..thanks for any help!!

Unfortunately steph there is no magic exercise to help your body lose fat in a specific area of the body. There is no way to spot reduce fat...
BUT... :) The good news is that the best thing to do for those bellies is to do abdominal exercises. Cardio is good but setting a routine for your abdominals (i.e. sit-ups, crunches, obliques) will get those abdominal muscles in shape. It could be that your tummy looks "flabby" because your muscles need toning.
If you've lost your 50 pounds recently it can take time for the skin to tighten up after that weight loss. Continuing to drink your water and keeping the skin moisturized may also help.
It is quite hard to have those nice looking strong abdominals we see on models. Good luck! :)

thanks for your input nets, i will start to add more ab workouts to my routine, and ill see if that helps along with the cardio, hopefully it does, i was just afraid that if i did that id build muscle under the fat but i guess as long as im stilll doing cardio it should work. thanks again!! :D
