Thought I'd help by getting you guys involved. You get that all the time over at the Atkins forum, someone (usually a newbie) asks an innocent question about another woe and some jackass (can I say jackass? ;) ) comes along and gets everyone all riled and and before you know it they're bashing that other woe! It's so frustrating because I know all of these woe-ings work, they just work differently for different people and are better suited for different people. Just like how low fat works for some people! Yeah, not for me... But I know plenty of people who are perfectly happy eating like that and look great. I just hate ignorance.
Great post Judy.

The only person who bad-mouthed South Beach also bad-mouthed Atkins. The thread was not trashing South Beach; unless saying French fries are not allowed on South Beach is trashing it.

I agree that the thread itself wasn't SB-bashing... but that one post definitely was. That said, I think the one SB defense post that was made was enough, so I won't be adding my .02 over there. Thanks Judy for speaking for us! :D

I sure agree with the person who said that food doesn't taste as good as it use to. I went out to eat and had a few bites of chocolate cake and decided my SF FF choc. pudding at home was waaaaay better.

I completely agree with you. I stay away from processed stuff, and almost all the commercial foods are 'tainted' somehow. I like the pudding my mother used to make.. good thing I know the recipe!!
