Has anyone undergone liposuction on their abdomen and can share your experience? How does it look months later? Do you require a tummy tuck down the road? Would love to hear about your experience.

just wanted to add that i'd love to hear experiences too, because i was just thinking that very question about my lower abdominal fat roll!!!

I too would like to know if lipo is enough or if a TT is required for the flap of skin left over....

I haven't had any procedures done but I did go to a cosmetic surgeon and he told me that lipo is for those who have a round belly that is hard to the touch as opposed to sagging skin that creates the apron like effect. The apron like effect would require abdominoplasty (TT). I would need the latter of the two however; I am going to wait until 6 months after I reach goal to make my decision. Maybe it will lift and tighten. it is a bit around my hip area already.

I was considering a TT but just after 18 pounds lost and lots of aerobic excercise and uncountable crunches, I dont think I am going to need one. Everything seems to be tightening up and going back into place. There will be a bit of saggy skin left I am sure but I'd rather spend the money on a holiday and new clothes and paying off my credit card than giving to a plastic surgeon. They are rich enough without my money

My weight came off really fast so I do have a pretty nasty little loose skin problem almost everywhere it seems. My thighs, my mid-section, my arms. Only my legs and forearms still have tight skin. lol Well, maybe it's not that bad, but darn close. Seems to me like I might need one of those body lifts, but I'm too chicken and too poor so I might just have to make the best of it. I still have a few more pounds to lose and I really do need to step it up in the gym so maybe that will help. Sure can't hurt.
