Hello everyone. I am new and on day 7 of phase 1. I had a slip on two days ago when my family visited and had a few cocktails. Is my whole week of work ruined? I am also getting stumped on what to eat for breakfast. The sbd book is mostly eggs and I am already so sick of them! I used to eat a bagel and it is hard to switch over to eggs. I think I have lost a few pounds, I have not got on the scale yet, but my pants are ever so slightly loser, which is big motivation for me to continue. My bf quit after two days, so now I am a lone soilder on the diet. Just wanted to say hello to everyone!

Hi! and Welcome to the Beach!!

Only you can decide if a few cocktails has blown your phase I. :agree:

I hardly ever eat eggs for breakfast!! You can also have cottage cheese, or an ind can of tuna or salmon with a small salad or even hummus!! You can click on my journal button to see what I've been eating since last July.

This is a great food plan and not just a diet!!

Good Luck to you!!

Welcome to the Beach. Check out the sticky at the top of this post there is alot of info there. I just eat foods that are listed for each phase. I have salads for breakfast, or what ever sounds good from the food lists. This really needs to be a life style change for it to work. I know I can never go back to eating how I used to our I'll gain it all back. I've changed for life, to make my life better.
Good Luck.

I don't know if its technically "legal" or not, but I have a low carb, low fat yogurt for breakfast every morning in lieu of the serving of skim or low-fat milk that we are allowed each day. I find it is one of the only breakfast options that I enjoy that requires no prep and can keep in my fridge for more than a week (I hate grocery shopping). I LOVE the Yoplait carb monitor kind - I have only seen it in strawberry and blueberry, but it has a lovely creamy, custard-like texture. Nutrition info: 90 calories, 2.5 g total fat (1.5 saturated), 8 g total carbs, 5 g sugars

Hi Ander and Welcome!

Glad you can join in for some support. I am the only one low-carbing in my family and sometimes that makes it hard. I'm glad to have the support of the people on these threads to get me through. Wishing you much success! :)
