:help:

hi

I have a couple questions.
I am in Ph 1, 2nd week.

I have lost 6 pounds so far.

1. I am VERY dizzy lately, for the last 4 days. usually at night moreso than in the day. It comes and goes and lasts 2 seconds but it's scary. It did start when I started my "monthly girl thing" so maybe it has something to do with this?. Also - I do take a women's 1 a day vitamin every morning. :daze:

2. Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. Yay or Nay? :yum: :agree:

3. I can't find sugar free yogurt. I went to Whole Foods - nada! :tears:

anyway!

HI!! I am Jessica
24 yrs old.

I had Gastric Bypass surgery 4 YEARS AGO and lost about 226 pounds. I've gained about 50 pounds back and I am trying to better myself, my mind and my body before it gets out of control. I am scared to be back where I was 4 years ago.

Thank you for your help.

Me 4 yrs ago: at 396 pounds

Hi there! Welcome to the Beach!

You should probably talk to your doctor about the dizziness. Without knowing much about you, we can only guess at what it might be (and then again, most of us aren't medical professionals!)

Hummus is great for either phase of SB; as long as there's no added sugar, and you go easy on portion size, you should be fine! I love Roasted Garlic hummus :yum:

As for the SF yogurt, if you can't find any where you are, then you can get the plain, lowfat (or fat free) yogurt and add your own sweetener (Splenda or whatever you use) and flavoring. I usually mix up a few different flavors a week, one serving at a time. Hey, where else are you going to get orange yogurt with walnuts and unsweetened coconut? :D

Lots of luck to you!

BTW, you look great!

see, I can find fat free plain yogurt but it still says it has sugar in them, about 10-15 grams. is this OK?. ALL the yogurts I saw were fat free plain had sugar :(

Welcome to the Beach Jess!!

WOW!! You've done some very intense body work already!! Good for you!! :agree:

As far as sugar free yogurt, I buy Dannon Carb Control...I love the raspberry!! It comes in handy 1/2 cup servings and is made with splenda.

Red pepper hummus sounds good to me!! I love hummus and eat it regularly!!

Make sure you are drinking enough water and eating enough food!! We don't starve on this plan...I eat 6 times a day!! Check out my journal as I log my food each day. :D Think about starting your own journal too!! :agree:

If the dizziness keeps up, you really should tell your doctor.

You do look great and are an inspiration to me!! :D

My best to you on your journey!!

The sugar in yogurt and milk is from lactose, which is acceptable on SB. It's the fat and added sugars we have to watch out for in our dairy products on this plan, which is why we can also have skim milk and 1% milk.

being dizzy is one of the first signs of dehydration. Maybe you need to really up your water intake.
