I thought this question would best be answered here. I would like people to post a list of the supplements they take and the ones they believe a low carber MUST have. I take a multi-vitamin, potassium, fish oil, fiber and calcium. I am not sure if that is all I need to get my nutrients and before anyone gets grumpy with me I did do a forum search- and maybe I am doing it wrong but I could not find a comprehensive list like I am looking for. Thanks!
Kai

Great overview of the whole arena, and good for helping you decide which supplements might be best for your situation.

I'm currently in a vitamin-binge mode; at other times in my life, I've thought I could get everything from food. Maybe I'll switch back or go broke--how you chose to allocate your money is a huge factor.

That said, from memory (not in the kitchen looking at the bottles)
Multi
Lots of C
E
Fish Oil
Chromium
Manganese
Minerals
Borage Oil
L-glutamine
Alpha Lipoic acid
Silymarin
NAC

Spread out over the course of the day in roughly five doses, at rising, meals, and bedtime.

I have:
good multivitamin
L-carnitine
Omega Fatty Oil Capsule
Oil of Oregano

I generally get enough fiber from veggies, but if you dont you may want to think about a fiber supplement.
