I've been low carbing for 3 weeks intermittently. Several weekend residential commitments have meant that I haven't been able to be a 100% lowcarber. I have lost 7 lbs to date. Advice please as to whether I still need to return to the induction phase again.

Hi Anne

Welcome to the forum, well done on the weight lose!!!!

I would suggest that if you haven't been 100% committed to an LC diet up 'til now then 1 week on induction rather than 2 would probably help. I know that that is what my wife and I did after coming back from our summer holiday (we only finished the first 2 week period of induction on the day we flew out, and didn't keep to the LC WOE whilst on holiday).

Don't forget to check out all the info contained in the orange banner at the top of the page, and keep posting, you'll get lots of help and encouragement from your fellow forum members..

Keep Smiling

Well done on making a start. It's got you thinking about Low Carb and what you could be doing. And you have lost more than 2lbs/week which is good.

I would recommend you do go for Induction if it is a better time to give it 100% now - it is the best, quickest and easiest way of breaking the carb-craving cycle.

Starting a journal might help you keep a full record of your progress and get specific help. Check out the Bootcamp.

Take care.

Well done and welcome from me too.

Try and give it 100% until you feel comfortable with it then start adding carbs slowly, you'll soon get used to it.
