Life On The Beach
(Published 4/6/05)Premiering on April 11, 2005, at 9 p.m., Lifetime Television will be presenting a weeklong special about The South Beach Diet™. Four women from very different backgrounds have been chosen to participate for a week, living Life On The Beach. From a three-story dream house right on the water, the women will receive advice from life coach and health guru Amy Hendel, listen to personalized messages from Dr. Agatston (creator of The South Beach Diet™ and preventive cardiologist), and learn basic workout exercises from former WNBA star Fran Harris. Along this journey, these women will explore what changes they need to make in their lives to eat better and live healthier.
A key part of their lifestyle change will be learning the fundamental principles of The South Beach Diet™ — how choosing the right carbs, right fats, fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy, and lean sources of protein can help them not only to lose weight, but also to maintain lifelong good health.
