Hello, all! I am still hanging in there with induction. Almost there! I just have a question on behalf of my husband. He is interested in losing about 10lbs. and is curious about the Carbohydrate Addicts Program, where you have one "reward meal" a day. Does anyone out there follow this plan? If so, how does it work for you? Is it good for maintenance? Any info., good or bad, would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tama

Hi Tama and husband :wave:

Welcome to the Forum. How are you finding induction?

{.... where you have one "reward meal" a day. Does anyone out there follow this plan? }
I have heard some pretty good things about it and it may be the right one for your husband as he only has a small amount to lose. Read all about it http://www.lowcarb.ca/atkins-diet-and-low-carb-plans/cabohydrate-addicts.html or read about loads of other Low-carb diet plans to decide if a different one might be better for him http://www.lowcarb.ca/atkins-diet-and-low-carb-plans/index.html

Do keep posting and let us know how u are doing.
Take care.

Thanks for the info, Fiona. I am finding induction to be pretty tolerable, after the first few days. I am almost done with it but I am a bit nervous about increasing my carb intake. I am afraid I will stop losing. My weight loss during induction has not been steady, down 2 lbs. one day, up 1lb. the next. But I do weigh less now than when I started. So, if I start adding more carbs, will I "yo-yo" like this even more? It is disconcerting.
Hugs,
Tama
