I cant beleive how good i feel! This is my 2nd day on induction and my body feels so much better not taking in all those bad carbs. I hated feeling bloated after i ate and my stomach would bulge out . but now after i eat i feel awesome and not bloated at all! i am however tired and feeling a little weak, but that is beucase of the carb withdrawel right? Ive heard that will pass. and i cant wait to lose weight and tone up for summer. i love this forum and i love this diet! I'm in LOVE!!!!! ahhhhh.. ok maybe not that dramatic, but i just wanted to share with you all how good i feel.

Stable blood sugar is a wonderful thing to discover! No one tells you that the roller-coaster is about to end, and it sure is nice....

it really is.
but i think i am freaking myself out now becuase i went to fitday.com and calculated what i ate today sofar. and it said that i had comsumed 4,232 calories! This is what i ate...
Breakfast:
3 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese
3 peices of bacon
and a glass of water
Lunch:
2 cups of lettuce
3 slices of cucumber
and grilled chicken to top it
a glass of water.
thats all i had! did i really consume that much??? and if so, isnt that bad?

lol... check the "QUANTITY" of your foods... likely something is off... you think you put in an ounce of cheese when it really put in a pound.
When you get the items in correctly, I'm gonna guess that you've had..... 570 calories so far

BTW, I see that your goal is only 20 pounds.... not to demean it, because it is the hardest 20 pounds to lose. After the first bit drops off from diet change, being as in shape as you are, you will probably have to increase your activity / exercise level to get into the shape you want to be in. Weight-training and low-intensity cardio..... I see these things in your future :)

I agree....you better go back and check the "quantity" of the foods you put into fitday.....lol. I don't think i've ever eaten 4,000 calories in one day. Even when I use to sit down with a whole half a box of chocolate chip cookies and a huge glass of milk. Just out of curiousity, how many carbs did it tell you you consumed for the day??

I actually didnt check how many carbs i was supposed to have in the day. But I am on induction for Atkins, day 3 to be exact and i had between 15 and 20 carbs. I am however going through that weak and tired stage. Not liking that too much especially having to run around after a 2 year old boy all day long. hehe.hey! why did you have to mention chocolate chip cookies! i want some! hehe just kidding. I know i would feel like crap if i ate chocolate now. Its so neat what a difference this WOE makes in someones life.
I heard that tangerine diet rite is awesome! have you tried it yet? i think i am going to run to the store and buy some before the snow storm hits. yum.

Well.......if you are on induction you should be having 20g carbs a day. I was just wondering what your carb intake was according to fitday on the day you had 4,000 and something calories. I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling as up as you were the first 2 days. I hear they call that "induction flu" and it will pass. I've never went through it though because I am not actually doing Atkins. I am just basically low carbing for now. I have been losing so I see no reason to start tweaking yet. Right now it's that TOM so the scale actually is up by a 1lb or 2. That, and the fact that I ate about 30 small slices of pepperoni last night while I was in work......lol. I'm sure I'm retaining water right now because of that!!
Well, it sounds like you are doing great so far. Keep up the great work and from what i've read........you'll be feeling 100% better within a few days. I hear the energy level is great once you get past the "induction flu".

thanks:o) On fitday i think my carbs were fine, it was just the fat intake that needed adjusting. So that induction flu i feel like it might be nearing the end. ive got a bit more energy this afternoon. so yay. Have you ever tried the Diet rite tangerine soda? i got it today and its incredible. made with splenda. anywas thats it for now. gonna go take a nap.

Yuppers........you did the ticker thingie right I see. As far as the diet rite tangerine soda goes.......I am not a soda drinker so I can't really tell you how it is. When I did drink soda, orange was one of my favorite flavors though. That and black cherry.....yum!! I've heard people hear say they add a little heavy cream to their diet rite orange and diet rootbeer soda and they are suppose to taste like orange creamsicles and rootbeer floats. Maybe you can try that some day when you are having a craving for something sweet. I was never a fan of creamsicles to begin with so....I'll pass on that one. Now if they can tell me something that will taste like a fudge bar.......then I'm in.......lol.
Well, must jump in the shower now as I have a fundraiser din-din tonight. I ordered the fish so I should be fine. I'll just skip the potatoes or rice that comes with it. Don't know if I will be able to pass up the dessert though.....lol.

yay! i am soo glad. so i cheated last night:o( my husband wanted to send out for a pizza and i didnt have the strength to say no. i had four peices!:o( but i really let myself have it last night and told myself not to let that happen again. i really need to stay focused or its going to take a long time to reach my goal. Its sad to think, but when i am confronted by some good old fashioned junk food, my mind seems to get cloudy and its like I am not in my own mind, i just want to EAT no matter what. any tips on how i can change that?
