There are different stages for atkins, with different food requirements. Processed meat is not recommended to a huge degree while on induction ( the first stage) I suggest you really look into the plan ( there are links on this board) and then you will be really prepared for the second stage, and you will have a really clear idea of what you can eat on induction .
Good luck !! :)

Processed meats are allowed on induction... **Processed meats, such as ham, bacon, pepperoni, salami, hot dogs and other luncheon meats—and some fish—may be cured with added sugar and will contribute carbs. It just says to be sure to count the carbs that may be added.
Have you tried asking at the deli counter for the nutrition info?
What happens after 2 weeks? Well, that depends on what you want to do. The best way to decide that is by reading the book and about all the stages of Atkins. Then you can make an informed decision to stay at induction levels longer or move on into OWL.

i agree, i stay away from processed foods and eat what is allowed on intro. the foods are listed in the book and they give great advice on what to eat on what phase. stay with it cause i love this way of eating and it fun to make new stuff. i cook enough the night prior for lunch the next day......

Until you're sure, you should probably stay away. Have you tried checking the makers websites to see if the nutritional information in posted? More and more manufactures are posting the nutritional info, which is so helpful for us in making decisions!
