I up'd my carbs to 27 (planning on upping to 25-30) yesterday and this morning I am NOT in ketosis. But, TOM came yesterday. Can TOM affect a ketosis reading or is my carb level really THAT low??

How do you know your not in Ketosis? ... Also how long have you been doing this , and when did you increase your carb count to 27 ?
I know im a bloke.... but my wife gains about 2lbs during TOM...... not sure about in or out of Ketosis... but I know once its all "over" her weight is back 2 normal

Yes, for some strange reason it can and does for me anyhow, affect ketosis. I've read it in one or two places also to back that up but can't remember where! But read the other postings about ketosis.... I'm beginning to understand why they may not be such a reliable source. I was so excited last week when my color was dark purple.... but then I did some reading and learned that it was probably the high dietary fat I had for dinner. It shows that you are burning fat but not necessarily body fat. I'm not doing the sticks OR weighing myself during TOM anymore.
