Hello,
First of all i just wanted to say that im so glad to have found this site. Im so desperate to lose these excess weight and most of all my tummy. I hate my tummy a lot.. i feel like im pregnant or something. I hate to admit this but i love to eat rice and its hard giving it up, Not to mention the goodies like cake and candies.. mmmm..

Anyways, i just started doing an induction today as you guys called it.
I had 2 eggs scrammbled and 1 sausage patty

For lunch, i had 1 big salad full of lettuce from el pollo loco and 2 chicken thighs... Im also drinking lots of water :D . I tried using fitday and im having trouble putting these foods.. Any help? Any suggestions also as far as the foods to eat and what kind of desserts are allowed?

Thanks a lot and i love it here

Hi and Welcome!!

You can customize Fitday for items that they don't have, but I usually just put things in individually.

As far as deserts, I try to stay away from them but many peaople eat low carb cheesecake. The recipe section has lots of good stuff!

I realize you're doing your own plan but if you go here... Atkins induction foods list (http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html) you'll get an idea of some VERY low carb foods.

Good luck to you!

i also had that problem with fitday... especially when it comes to filipino native food like tinola/adobo. what i did though was i'd try to pick the closest available choice to what i ate. for tinola usually i'd just put steamed chicken breast or what have you. it's not as accurate, but at least you have an estimate, and you can judge from there :)

beware of fastfood salads by the way. i watched supersize me a couple of months back and it said that most of the dressings contain as much sugar/carbs as a cheeseburger meal. deceptive, i tell you. :D

and i love el pollo loco! my fave fastfood since i was young, i'm happy its still open (i think it was around since i was in grade school). their chicken is fab, you'll find that if you eat 1 whole chicken breast, or something that's as meaty, you'll be craving a lot less and you'll feel full right away. :D that's why i love chicken and steaks when lc-ing. turkey too. i find that other types of meat/seafood don't satisfy me too well. hope that helps! take care and welcome to the forums and to the lc-way of life! :D
