You can use the item's label to get the portion's weight.

30 ml = 1 oz I can convert it for you if you tell me what the wt is. I can try to explain how to do it but don't want to confuse you so if you tell me the wt I can try to write in what I did to get the answer. What do you want it to be? Oz, G, Cup?

I have the same problem - I'm trying to enter my Diet Coke into my custom foods and have 355mL, now I found this: "Milliliters into Grams: Multiply the specific gravity of the substance by the number of milliliters, to obtain the weight in grams." Uh... how the heck to I get the specific gravity? Does anyone just happen to know how many grams are in a 12 fl oz can of pop?

I'll see if we can add a little popup with conversion help.

There's a new link on the custom food entry, that will list many of the common conversions, including a couple of fluid conversions to weight.
