Hi Everyone

Chicken wings

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

mouth watering yet????? :yum:

I picked up a deep fryer about 6 months ago when I was doing "the atkins thing for the summer". Chicken wings are awesome in them. My wife & I eat them "plain" or "dry". I'm sure there are lots of low carb hot sauces.........but...... I likem mild anyways. Best part is....you can dip them in some yummmmmmmy blue cheese and.......presto. A awesome snack. What better snack then to have chicken wings for the upcoming Superbowl????? :)

P.S. I searched the site high & low. I can't find anything on "eating out". IE: TGI Fridays is "atkins friendly" anything else????? Thanks for your help. have a GREAT day you LOSERS!!!!! :D :p

Hey FATguy:

Yummy idea you have there.

I like chicken wings dry, too.
Usually I bake them with a lite coating of variety herbs and parm cheese.
We enjoy them as a meal on weekends with a nice salad.

May all your weight loss be permanent weight loss.
Blessings...

Hi FG

I love deep fried chicken wings too. I make a marinade of olive oil lemon juice and garlic cloves, gives them a nice subtle flavour! Very tasty!

There are several baking bags for wings on the market now. Make a nice tender wing.
While I cook a great deal more than I use to on Atkins I do eat out quite a bit and I just design my own meal with meat and salad and veggies (depending on what the resturant has). Just stay away from the obvious breads, potatos etc.
As far as wings are concerned be sure, when ordering in a resturant that their wings are breaded. Most hot sauces I have tried and or seen are fairly low in carbs.

Assuming you mean NOT breaded?

I love wings I used to live on them but then I saw the calorie count and was a little scared. I know that is not the plan on low carb but I try to keep it all off. By the way Franks hot sause has come out with a hot wing sause that has 0 carbs. I use it on every thing. almost all my meat I put franks sause on it Yum Yum. Has any one seen any since of a stall or gain with chicken wings ? I jus hat to log it and have my calorie count go above 2000. I eat at most times 15 hot wings is that to much? What do all of you eat ?
