Are there any sugar-free popsicles made without sugar alcohols? Some contain Sorbitol. What about the Flav-O-Ice lites?

Try to find a popsicle that is an all fruit one, with no other ingredients.

That'd be too carby for Atkins. There are sugar free popsicles. I think they're splenda sweetened. I don't recall the name though. They came in a bright yellow box by the same folks that make the sugary ones.

Blue Bunny sells sugar free popsicles made with Splenda. They sell them at Super Walmart.

Those also contain Sorbitol, a sugar alcohol. Any other suggestions?

They have to add something besides the Splenda to keep them from being a solid chunk of ice. The sorbitol keeps them soft. I have made my own with just Splenda and Koolaid mix and they end up being flavored ice cubes. Next summer I think I will try making some using a little xanthum gum and see if that helps the texture.

I think it depends on the person.
But if popsicles are stalling you, I would get rid of them. I went through a phase where I had to have sf jello every night. But I got over it. I also think that it will slow me down now if I eat that so I only will rarely. I know it's not sugar alcohol but the idea is the dessert.
How do you do on days without popsicles?

I'm sure erwife is partly referring to the gastric discomfort that many sugar alcohols cause!
