Ok, I have a strange question, that I'm not really sure is related to my being on induction (two weeks now).
I've been experiencing this weird "throat-closing" kind of feeling since I started LC'ing. The front and sides of my neck feel kind of weird - as though someone were pressing their fingers into my neck.
It's not painful, but it's annoying and awkward. Try to imagine someone pressing their index fingers or thumbs into the center of your neck, and another finger into the sides. This is what it feels like. It's also a bit like a throat-closing kind of feeling. Like wearing a choker around your neck that is slightly too tight or a rubber band or something. This "feeling" is not around my entire neck, but at the sides and front of the neck. I know this probably sounds totally oddball, but I have to ask..
Has anyone else experienced this?
Like I said, it's not painful, but it is a wee bit curious and annoying. I'm wondering what the heck it is.
Thanks to anyone who can shed any light on this weird "thing" I'm experiencing.

What did you eat?
I get like that when I eat fish, which I'm allergic too. (I love fish which it's a shame I'm allergic to it) Maybe you ate something you are allergic to and don't know it.
Other then that, I have no clue what it could be.
Take care.

I get that from Splenda sometimes.....

Thanks for the replies. I haven't eaten anything that I'm allergic too, and I don't eat or drink splenda or any other sugar alternative.
Hmmm...
I ate eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast, salad for lunch, and a pork chop with a small spinach salad for dinner yesterday.
I'm taking a multivitamin, Omega 3 supplement, a calcium/magnesium supplement along with a potassium supplement. I'm not 100% perfect at taking these things each and every day.
One thing I know for sure, and that's the fact that I haven't been as good on drinking lots of water lately. I really do need to make an extra effort in that department - it's been dropping off lately. I wonder if being dehydrated could cause this strange neck/throat feeling?
I don't think I'm dehydrated though, because I'm drinking lots of tea (some real tea, and some herbal/decaf tea).
I'm going to make sure I drink lots of water..I think this is important - I felt better on the days when I was drinking lots of it.
Thanks again. :)

What about trying to take your supplements one at at time. (one for a week to see which one it may or may not be) Maybe it's one of them do this to ya.
Just an idea!

Yeah, maybe I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion - you might be onto something. I recently added the fish oil...
But I've never had a problem with fish before. I really hope it's not the problem, because I enjoy fish very much.
Starting tomorrow, I'll take just the multi for a week. See what happens.
Thanks again! :)

Thank you all very much for listening to me ask about my silly symptoms.
I drank more water yesterday, and I just took my multi vitamin.
Felt better, and my neck/throat didn't feel as weird.
Today, my plan is for even more water - I was drinking a lot of it during my first week on induction, and slowly have gotten away from it. I know I need to drink lots.
Still not quite enough water yesterday, but much better than the past several days.
Thanks again :)

I was going to suggest dehydration but you've already thought of that. If your throat is dry that could be the problem.
also, maybe you're coming down with something (ie viral) ??
Hope it's cleared up by now!
