My doc perscribed Adderall recently and I dont know if it will work against the Atkins diet. I'm worried that it may interfear with my weightloss b/c it's a stimulant. Does anyone know anything about stimulant meds and Atkins? :help:

adderall takes your hunger away should help with weight loss.

Yes it does suppress appatite, but my main concern is that it is a stimulant to the body. I'm concerned that it might keep my body from creating its own energy by burning my fat. But today, I used the ketostyx and for what that shows, I am producing ketones, so Im burning fat. Guess its okay!

This isn't the same as Adderall, but I was on Zoloft during induction & still lost weight. Oddly enough, now that I'm not on it anymore, my weight loss has slowed.
