Hello everyone. I really need help trying to innovate some menu choices for below 40 gr. carber's. I'm already bored with turkey burgers, salmon steaks, and chicken breast. Does anyone know where to find a menu online I could maybe adapt while I'm struggling through these 1st two weeks? I can't even think right now because I'm going out of my mind with sugar cravings.
HELP!!
Thanks guys!
I found that SF Jelly (Jello) with heavy double cream and a teaspoon of Splenda ontop .....tastes wonderful and gets rid of those cravings :D

Excellent recipes and her own menus.... http://users3.ev1.net/~fontlady/index.html
I'm also wondering why you're not eating any red meat?
^^^forget that question, you're doing lean for life.

Linda's Low Carb Menu & Recipes has some excellent recipes. She even puts an asterick by ones that are induction friendly. And there are nice ideas for side dishes, using vegetables, to add even more variety to your veggies.

You my dear are a godsend! The recipe site may have very well saved my diet for the long run. I have Dana Carpenter's Book (500 low carb receipe's) but some of them are challenging when you've been basically not cooking good food for the last 10 years or so. I cook the same things over and over. The only thing that saves me is my kid's are too young to really complain and my husband is usually so hungry he could care less if he eat's chicken every night (it's his favorite).. So thanks for the site.

LindaSue is a Godsend ;) she has picked out the easiest most tastiest dishes and has spent the time to try them, tweak them and offer her wonderful opinion on them.
Glad you site will work for you.

You may not know, but Dana Carpender also has a bunch of other cookbooks out, especially "15-Minute low-carb meals" or something like that. They really are 15 minute meals, and almost everything is simple, but tasty.
I have all her books, without which I could not exist in a low carb world, and that is my favorite. Lots of simple variations on a theme, but often things I wouldn't have thought of, or, more importantly, didn't *have* to think of!
Good luck!

For a quick fix to cravings, I have to second SF Jello as the number one lifesaver. I work in an office that has bowls of chocolate bars, hershey's kisses, and popcorn on every surface, all day, every day. It doesn't usually bother me, but about 3 in the afternoon for about ten minutes, I'll start to find myself being magnetically drawn towards the chocolate and I have my daily struggle to resist.
I go get a SF Jello out of the refrigerator (I keep it STOCKED!) and sit down with it, and it works that craving right out of me. Once again I'm able to sail by the 3 Musketeers without a second thought.

I love Linda's Recipe's and Menus website. I especially like her Picnic Salad. It's very easyto make and I usually have some in my fridge to have for lunch along with a salad or even for breakfast. When I have it for breakfast, I sprinkle bacon bits on it. It's something different and it's basically made up of eggs and cauliflower. The only thing I do differently is I only put in 2 tblsp. of yellow mustard as opposed to 3 which the recipe calls for. I'm not a big fan of yellow mustard. There are so many recipes on there that I can't wait to try.
