I understand the importance of drinking water and I want to know the rule of thumb for how much to drink. I know the minimum per day is 64 oz. How much additional is recommended based on how much overweight you are? Thanks for any help.

This is from my Protein Power guidelines:

"Drink water until you feel like you're going to float. A good rule of thumb--take your body weight, multiply it by .69 and divide by 32 (ounces). This will give you, in quarts, the amount of water ideal for you per day."
