I have recently bought almond flour and made my first onion quiche with it tonight - absolutely lovely pastry and will try making scones tomorrow BUT can anyone tell me what the carb count is - my packet gives no information whatsoever. I would have posted on a more general forum but I did a search and see that there are some recipes using almond flour - although the ones I looked at did not give a count.

Many thanks

I use Bob's Red Mill brand. My bag shows that the total carb count is 6g per 1/4 cut, though 3g of that is dietary fiber. Hope this helps!

Scones ...? Anyone know how you make them authentic? They were one of my my fav in England and Scotland. Also the natural white cheese in the UK is wonderful.

Also, if you click through on the TOOLS link on the green menu bar above, you'll get to our own site carb counter/encyclopedia...where things like almond flour (ground almonds) are counted out for you...
