Hello everyone,

I have been reading the post for a week now and decided to join today. I LOVE IT! :) .I am a 25 yrs old mother of two kids (AGES 8 & 9).I have been on the atkins diet for 2 weeks now have lost 4lbs in the first week. Have not cheated at all :D (YA ME!).Keeping my may carbs less than 20 a day

My keto sticks have been always positive everyday after the first 3 days. I feel great no mood swing. my only real problem is I am very tierd in the morning when I wake up feel like my muscles are really heavy. I jog every morning for 30mins. I use to jog for 1 hrs but it seems muscles cant go anymore. I take muti-vitamans, and have had no problems with constipation. I dont understand if I am doing anything wrong, why has my weight loss been so slow.

Now I am reading about eating carbs all weekend and wondering if I need extra carbs to lose weight or what?does anyone have any ideas?
THanks
Debbie

PS I drink about 1 gallon of water a day
Have one cup of 1/2 decaff coffee with heavy cream and splenda in the am

The extra carbs don't make you lose extra weight. The carbs are there as fuel for an active lifestlye.

The CKD was designed for bodybuilders conducting intense weight training. Without carbs, intense activity lasts 3 workouts and then things go flat.

Try a weekend carb up, but be sure to do a workout every morning for the first 3 days .after the carb-up. Also, I strongly advise weight training along with it, but that's your decision.

See how your workouts feel and let us know.
