My english is not very good: I think a lot of people is able
to write better than me in english, but I’m using this
language to communicate with a larger number of people.
Important is not the form, but the content. My considerations:
here they are. I am really persuaded that food and diet
represent a fundamental aspect of our life, because
alimentation can influence positivly and negativly many
things. Food may be considered at the same level of a
medicine, because an abuse of it or, more commonly, a wrong
use of it can cause bad inconvenience (examples which are
under the eyes of all people are diabets, high pressure, fat,
ecc...). Consciousness of it, I began to control my diet,
keeping account of amount of calories and nutrients ate every
day writing them every day and controlling that the values was
contained in the right ranges. It was very difficult for many
reasons: food often isn’t sample, but derives from union
of many ingredients and to calculate the right amount of
nutrient you have to know the right ratio between an
ingredient and the other (almost impossible)and you need to
know the exact composition of the ingredient (not so symple).
Then the range of nutrient which you need every day is very
variable, depending on meny factor: the physical activity, the
healt status, the weather. At the end, I release that a
similar type of diet control is insufficient, but would like
to continue my fight again. In particular, I would to try
another approach: I have to control the flow of daily food,
but I have to consider also the answer of my body, which is
the real flag of my situation, which say me: “Ok, you
are on the wright way!” or “No, you are going
out!”. In other word I have to consider feed back. Now,
my problem is that I don’t know what every body’s
behaviour means. For example: what does it means I have head
ache? What have I eaten of wrong? Or, what is the consequence
of an abuse of proteins? And satured fat? Thousands of
questions can be made about. I need a list of body’s
behaviours and correspondent alimentary causes, to avoid the
problem next time and to correct it trought the correct diet.
I also need a complete database of food and nutrient. Do you
have a piece of advice for me? Thank you very much.

I couldn't make out very much, but here's what I can say. Too
much protein can overload your pancreas and reduce your
ability to fight off cancer cells. Also, you could end up with
too much homosysteine in your blood. Another words, don't do
Adkins diet.

Too much saturated fat can scar your blood vessels and will
make the cholesterol plaque up in those areas. Plus, it is
HARD to digest, and it's toxic.

I admire your enthusiasm in trying to tell people about
nutrition, but you will unfortunately find out that people
DO NOT want to know the truth about treating diseases
naturally. It's true! Try it, you will find a wave of
resistance against natural remedies. You CANNOT convince
them they can be healthy. Americans would rather pay lots of
money for drugs and surgery, instead of making a few simple
changes in their lives.

My point is, Americans are fat, sick, and unhealthy because
they like it and they choose to be. That's right, you read
correctly. Seriously, everyone you talk to will fight you
till the bitter end and accuse you of blasphemy. In the next
few days, people will verbally attack me on this site. I
guarantee it.

I have a wealth of info in you are interested. E-mail me at

I understood what you wrote quite, well.

I would recommend that you try reading my web site, at:
http://naturalhealthperspective.com/food/

And, you should especially read: Improving Your Nutrition.
http://food.naturalhealthperspective.com/diettips.html

Your basic problem is very typical. You are trying to make
the whole process more complicated than it actually needs to
be by trying to change too many things in your diet at the
same time.

Everything that you need to know about improving your diet is
contained in my web site. I cover the subject of eating
healthy food in 17 different web pages.

Ciao!

I think bad english is not the problem, but the form actually
is. Without form (some linebreaks for instance) what you type
won't be read by many.

On topic: I think what you try to do is not bad but maybe a
little too much.. There cannot be a list of things you eat and
the effect it has on your body in the next hours because your
well-being is subject to many more factors than food.

If you want to try to eat more healthy then go for something
more simple like: "eat 2 servings of fruit and 3 servings of
vegetables every day."

Trying to calculate all the nutrients is nearly impossible..
and even if you do you will find, that the references for
intake are just averages for groups of people and vary (to a
rather large degree) from individual to individual.

The references are not meant to be met every single day (even
though they are called "daily reference intakes") but rather
in the mean over a few days or a week.
