I picked up a box of the Atkins Peanut Butter ice cream bars (that I've used since finishing with induction) and I noticed several changes. The biggest one is with the texture and flavor of the ice cream. It used to have a solid, creamy feel to it. I noticed it is now much more "airy" and not as dense, nor as smooth. It also tasted a little more bland. The chocolate "ribbons" in the ice cream (as displayed in the picture on the box) were also missing.
The chocolate on the outside is also different. It has a little better taste. Instead of being flat, it also has two long "dimples" on each side, which I noticed helps with the sides of the chocolate not falling off when bitten into.
Seems like they made the chocolate better, but the ice cream itself worse. Could just be a wierd batch, but with the redesign in the outer chocolate, I think they've made a more permanent change.
