I'm looking for a Canadian source (store or mail order), or
supplier / manufacturer of suforaphane. Any help or feedback
would be appreciated. Thanks, Don

Before you can find it you need to spell it correctly. It is
sulforaphane.

Try a farm supply store (Tractor Supply, etc). Their line of
veterinary antibiotics is reagent grade and good for human
use. And, no prescription. Just buy what you need, no
questions asked.

If you read the subject line, you'll notice that I did spell
it correctly, but made a spelling mistake further down. Of
course if you have never spelled anything incorrectly you are
welcome to throw the first stone.

Looks like everyone who responded from this newsgroup must be
on the wrong supplements or on a low-carb diet, which would
just about result in the same symptoms. Don

Also, soup stock is high is calcium... it comes out when you
simmer the bones. A good soup with cruciferous vegies tossed
in near the end would be a good source of both before
mentioned and other nutrients. Try a good homemade minestrone
soup with good fresh chard or spinach tossed just a few
minutes before serving or a nice Chicago style stuffed pizza,
stuffed with spinach and mozzerella cheese. See the stuffed
pizza in this book:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0809257300/

There is better satisfaction with good food than with pills or
powders. Especially if you include the joy of cooking and the
healthy exercise of growing your own vegies (Bright Lights
chard is not only good tasting and good for you, but is a good
looking additon to the flower bed -- especially since it adds
color during the winter when the flowers have faded).

Milk is a very poor source of calcium for humans. You
know that.

You asked for help in finding a source but you mispelled the
word. I am sure you know that when you are looking for
something on the internet you MUST spell it correctly. Just
because you spelled it correctly in the subject line is not
much help because when I read your message I did not compare
it to the subject line as I am sure few people do.

I searched for suforaphane and it came up and I spent a fair
amount of time trying to find you a source but soon realized
that I was searching for something which was non-existent.

I am not throwing stones just hoping to give you a clue that
when you ask for help, you must help those you are asking. Or
maybe you didn't really want a source.

On the contrary, it's an excellent source of calcium.

That is one of the nicest paragraphs I've read in a long time.
Not only true, but beautifully put with fine sentiments (as
opposed to condiments)

Thank you.
