I've never had such a thing before and I'm NOT a teenager, I'm 39.

They showed up along with a yeast infection (which had previously been a rarity for me). I got rid of the YI, but the pimples still erupt sporadically.

Are these pimples sympomatic of having systemic candida?

Thanks for any insights on this.

Could be the toxins coming out from the die off. Drink plenty of water and take Vit C powder.

I have had these little bugger for about 5 years now and slowly going away. I found since I have been diagnosed with Candida and put on Nystatin as well as other supplements and herbs they are clearing up some. Oh, and I have also cut more out of my diet. I cant seem to narrow down what has caused them BUT I have read many articles that say its due to allergies/sensativities to foods(grains, dairy, ect..) and or your bodies reaction to the Candida itself. It can and does alot of damage to your body and one way it shows up is your skin. Mine has simmered down when I stay away from dairy...mainly cream. I use it in my coffee. I know your not suppose to have this on the anti candida diet yet sometimes I test myself to see how I am doing and drink a cup or so. I think the coffee itself does it too. The mold in coffee is what I am super sensitive to.

I would take a look a look at your diet. If your doing an anti-candida diet write down in a journal everything you experience while "cleaning" up your eating.

Wishing you well

There is no cure, sorry to say. I've been diagnosed by several dermatologists'. The name for this is Keratosis Pilaris. I was prescribed a heavy duty lotion, called LacHydrin. It helps, but very little, plus it is very sticky feeling. I have found one thing that works and that is mild tanning. Got to a tanning bed once or twice a week and for some reason it helps to dry it up. Never ever pick, it will leave dark scars! If you do a search on the internet for Keratosis Pilaris, you will find pictures and treatment tips. (home remedies) Neotrogena also has a lotion that helps a little, I think it's called Bump Minimizing Lotion, to help reduce bumps on the backs of arms and legs.
Good Luck, it never goes away, but you can control it.
