Well my headaches are finally gone!! :D i'm feeling alot better now, i'm on day10 on the induction period. This site has helped me out sooo much with differen't food i can eat and everything tastes so good! :yum: I don't miss all those carbs i used to eat. i feel very good about my eating habbits already. One question i have is that i still crave chocolate (on a certain day of the month) what can i have to get the craving gone? some people r saying not to eat the advantage bars on induction but i need something! will i mess the whole induction period up if i have one?

Four more days! If I were you, I would leave the bars alone until you are really finished with induction. Because those cravings can really kick up again before you know it! I don't eat the bars because they give me terrible digestive problems (malitol) although some people have good luck with them. And like many folks here, I count the sugar alcohol in my total carb count rather than using the "net" carbs they list on the product. There is lots of information here on the forum on sugar alcohol, you can find some good stuff in the search feature.
I am so glad your headaches are gone! I get terrible headaches during induction and it is so great when they really go away. Congratulations on your success!

Great to hear how everything is coming together for you! I agree, I'd wait with the bars. I may even wait until well after induction. They affect all people differently. They may stall you or give you potty problems or not-- there is now way to know for sure but by trying it. I started bars probably about 2 months in. It was a mistake for me. Not only were they a staller but they sparked up the cravings big time. So I would say, when you are ready, be prepared of the possibility of having a problem with them. Maybe try going to the recipe section here and finding something sweet that is homemade? I hear the peanut butter cups are to die for. The cheesecakes are really good too. Even if you go the homemade route though, you may still need to keep them to a once and a while thing. Again, YMMV when it comes to eating the treats homemade or not (although homemade will likely have less change of giving you problems).

I'm a chocoholic too. Dark chocolate, that is 70% cocoa, is only 3.25 carbs per square.
I love dark chocolate, and I can't wait to able to treat myself with it again. At the same time, I wonder if it would up cravings for carbs? (A risk worth taking) ;)
I know that dark chocolate is actually good for you so in moderation, I'm sure it'd be fine.

My favorite way to eat chocolate is to mix coca powder in raw wiped cream, Splenda sugar, over fruit - now only if we could get rid of the caffeine...

I drink cocoa made from pure cocoa powder, sweetener, and boiling water with a splash of cream or soy milk. It keeps the chocolate monster at bay!

As odd as this may sound, when you have a craving for chocolate, hit the tuna!
A can (or less...depends on what you want) mixed with good old REAL mayo will hit that craving.
I was so skeptical at first too...just give it a try!

 There is a "Low-carb" dairy beverage made by "Hood" called "Carb Countdown". You should be able to find it at your local grocery store. It's only 2 grams of carbs for 8 oz. I love it and drink it when I get a chocolate craving. It works for me. :D
