Fillets of Whiting with Capers and Walnuts
Ingredients for 4 servings: 4 whiting fillets (about 1/3 lb each), 2 tablespoons capers (0.1 ECC), 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts (0.5 ECC), 1/2 cup butter, 1 teaspoon tamari soy sauce (.3 ECC), 1 lemon (3.9 ECC), 2 teaspoons chives, sea salt, white pepper from the mill.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes.Cooking (in the 500 W microwave oven) Time: 5 minutes.
Preparation: Salt and pepper the whiting fillets on both sides, then sprinkle them with lemon juice and soy sauce. Lay the fillets in a buttered dish. Add bits of butter, chopped nuts and capers. Micowave covered in the oven at 500 W for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
