i know lots of you stay away from "frankenfoods" and have to avoid the "tols" and sugar alcohols... but for those of us who DO and CAN have them and still maintain weightloss... i gotta say... this stuff ain't bad. anyone else try this "zero" carb ice cream??

(the only bad part for me is that i had it for dinner.) :daze:

i'd imagine that if you throw it in the blender with some heavy cream... it'd make a yummy shake!

Yes.. and even if you count the SA's in it, its only like 6 a serving. Ive had it a few times and not had any problems.

THat heavy cream is a good idea!

Its ok, a little watery tasting, but not any worse than some other brands which will go unnamed.

Haven't tried that one. What flavors does it come in?

I have not tried Breyers yet ... but Edys has some great LC ice cream. Comes in chocolate, chocolate chip and some sort of mint.

LC ice cream is my favorite indulgence -- however, I believe it to be part of the reason I had stalled for so long. My advice: enjoy, but be careful and limit how often you indulge (unless you are already at your goal weight).

They have a zero carb ice cream out there? I did not know that. Not sure if I really need to know that sadly. The way I go through the mint chocolate chip stuff. :D

I eat it as a reward every Sunday. Its really Chocolate Sherbert with Van Ice Cream. Its pretty good and low in SAs in 0 net carbs.

Bought the Breyer's "0 carb" stuff a couple of weeks back. The "Neapolitan" type. I wasn't able to finish the half cup serving. I just didn't care for the texture. It was like air. My cat came and sniffed the bowl. . . took one lick and turned her nose up at it, too. Smart cat?

Its Vanilla Ice CREAM, Chocolate SORBET, and Strawberrie SORBET. (all three in same box)

Thats why its so umm thin, or lite tasting.

I love the 4g net carb Breyers flavors (vanilla, strawberry are favorites). But I've never seen the 0g flavors. I can't wait to try them. I'm sure they'll hit my stores soon. Thanks for the advance notice since I'll be looking out for them now.

The butter pecan is my favorite and my cat goes nuts for it after I am done. The rocky road is also really good. I want to try their plain vanilla and make a root beer float with the Hansen's Diet Root Beer. Only thing is that one 4 carb serving is only 1/2 cup! THat's like one spoonful for me! Then again, any more then that, my wife makes me sleep on the couch!

To ERICK, don't give that ice cream to your cat! could cause problems for it. If it gives you gas, imagine what it could do to your cat.
