Has anyone tried the Flax 'n Nut Crunchies from Gram's Gourmet (http://www9.netrition.com/grams_gourmet_granola_page.html)?

Yes, quite a while ago. I found them to have the texture I was missing from breakfast, but couldn't find an LC milk I could stomach to pour over it. :)

They are good to snack on, but I need a way to make them more of a breakfast.

I was hoping they would be a good snack item. They are expensive, so I thought it would be good to check here first...

Wow the prices go from $7.99 to 13.99. Sure looks tasty tho.

I mix a little in my Carb Countdown yogurt sometimes, but I'm not a huge fan. Too ... flaxy?

Donald--I just got some for the first time, and I love it! It has exactly the granola "qualities" that I've been wanting and missing, and it tastes great. It would be good with Hood milk, but I really like it on the Hood vanilla yogurt. If I HAD to find something wrong with it, I guess I'd say that it's kind of hard to use just as a dry snack, because it's a mixture of larger pieces with lots of tiny bits that would be hard to pick up without a spoon. :) I've got the maple/brown sugar and the cinnamon (love them both). This is something that I will definitely order again (and again).. :D

I love these cereals. Unlike other LC granolas, these cereals are made without sugar alcohols and are full of nuts. That is why they are more pricey.

I ordered this from Netrition and received it about a week ago, and I know that I already mentioned that I LOVE it!!! I had no idea, however, that it was going to cause strife in the house.. :D The entire family thinks it's wonderful, and now we're playing the "Who ran off with the granola?" game...
Husband and I have discovered that sharing a Hood french vanilla yogurt with a liberal sprinkle of this after breakfast keeps us full most of the day. It's just so yummy, I just can't find enough good things to say about it, and the ingredients are all so healthy (although there are those who might not think that Splenda is the perfect ingredient). A pretty perfect product, at least IMO...
