LC appears to be interfering with my birth control. My period is starting earlier than it should be (8 days earlier this month and last month).

I'm not really sure how to handle this.

I have the same problem. My midwife confirmed that it was from estrogen released from burning fat (we store estrogen in fat cells).

I have this problem once or twice a year and switching to a new pill seems to take care of it for 6-12 months. Maybe it's go back to normal on it's own?

samething happened to me just 2 days ago. I wasn't expecting TOM until this coming weekend ( damn I hate it when I have to go to work).

Also wanted to ask you ladies...did the BC pills interfere with your weight loss in anyway?? I think mine does so I decided to go off for a while and see what happens..I've been doing Induction for 4 weeks now and my weight fluctuates between 149 and 151 lbs.

Can someone please explain how oestrogen is related to weight loss?

Thank you.

I found that I was constantly spotting even thought I was on continuous BCP and should not have had any type of TOM. I'm off BCP now as we are trying for #2!! :)

My last TOM was one day early but I haven't had this problem at all.

Your best bet would be to discuss this with your Dr. It could be that you need a different pill to stabalize your hormones with your LC diet.
