so upset!

I'm so upset with Kroger!

they were carrying LC hamburger buns and hot dog rolls in the bakery section, not the bread aisle, but over with the deli, cheese bin, etc

the buns and rolls were made by a company out of Cincinnati called Inter-American Products, they make specialty items for Kroger

bought the hamburger buns and they were great--tasty, good texture and only 7 grams carb per bun

then I saw some hot dog buns by the same company in the same place in the store--wonderful! same 7g per roll

when I went back to get more, the manager found out they had been discontinued. I've called Kroger corporate HQ, had a representative try to find them for me. She called back to say they are no longer being made!! :cry:

Pepperidge Farm and some others are making buns and rolls now, but the carb count is more than twice the amount, and they're too big.

the Inter-American ones were just the right size

if anyone knows of any other buns and rolls similar, please advise

the only ones i know of are made by Nature's Own. they are 10net carbs per bun, but they are pretty small.

Orowheat is making them. They are whole-wheat and 10 net carbs per bun. But they are good.
