Here are the products I have tried that are really good

http://www.carboptions.com/

Dressings
Carb Options Lemon Flavored Decaf Tea - EXCELLENT
Carb Options Blue Cheese Dressing - GREAT but I wish it was chunkier
Carb Options Italian Dressing - My favorite on salad and chicken
Carb Options Sweet and Spicy French Dressing - Loved this on my burgers

Carb Options Asian Marinade - This was the best for stir fry and chicken
Carb Options Italian Garlic Marinade - I haven't tried this yet
Carb Options Ketchup - THE BEST EVER
Carb Options Original BBQ Sauce - So good tastes like the real stuff
Carb Options Steak Sauce - Just like A1

Carb Options Instant Cream of Chicken Soup - Kinda watery tasting but not bad

Carb Options Mushroom Soup - This was great
Carb Options Onion Soup - Great for dips but I didn't try it as a soup
Carb Options Chunky Peanut Butter - THis was good!!!

I want to try their snack chips and their basil pesto pasta. Has anyone tried these and what do you think? I am very happy with their products. Can you tell??

i've only tried a couple of their products. the ketchup is good, but heinz is better. the steak sauce is quite good, but it contains sugar for some reason. i do like the mushroom soup, that was a nice find.

i've also tried their peanut butter bars, and those were quite good. as my brother said, "that tastes exactly like a reeses!"

Hi

I tried the CarbOptions Oil and vinegar dressing, and I thought it was too sweet. I'd rather have oil and vinegar (with S&P).

I just tried CO Side Dishes Creamy Pesto Pasta. I added shrimp and some veggies. It was okay. The sause was amazing, the pasta was...missing something. Good enough though, since I haven't had pasta in over a year!!

I look forward to trying the steak sauce!

I saw CarbOptions recomended so I went to their web-site to check out the MiniCarb Apple Cinnamon Granola

Curious tho....the website gives a link to independant lab test results.

The manuf lists total carbs as 29, with fiber 25.

But, the indep lab gives total fiber as 53.1 and fiber as 20.3. There is a hand written note on the report that says "Polydextrose (Fiber) = 25.5", but there's no indication the note came from the lab!

However! The cereal serving is 55g, while the lab tested per 100g.

OK....so now I"m really confused.

Based on the lab report:
The total Carb should be 29.205 (rounded to 29 is fine)
Fiber should be 11.165 (rounded to 11)
Even if the handwritten note is correct, the fiber would only be 14.025 (rounded to 14)

Of concern also is that soy oil is used.....and that fructose is found on the lab report. At first I figured this was due to apple in the ceral, but the ingredient lists only flavoring, no actual apples

Am I missing something?

I have purchased the barbecue sauce both original and hickory and the ketchup. They are pretty good. However, you can buy
other products that have lower carbs, and I mean regular items at a lot less money. For instance I buy peanut butter ground from peanuts only at my local bulk/health food store and it's a lot cheaper. I found a spaghetti sauce at Sobey's, Vitale brand that has less carbs than the carb options, so there are other choices if you're watching your pennies!

I've found that out too, the Vitale is nice and almost half the carbs for almost half the price.
In general I've found nothing I need in that line or I can buy regular stuff for less. I feel as a consumer we're getting fleeced.
If you are watching trans fats the PB has some it too.
