Heres another quick recipe

BEEF NUGGETS

1 kg beef mince
3 eggs
1 pkt TVP [150 gms]
1-2 tspns onion powder
1-2 tspns garlic powder
1 1/2 cups grated cheese
! 1/2 Tblspns grainy mustard [optional]

Mix together thoroughly, shape into ping pong sized balls and flatten slightly.
Place on baking peper lined shallow treays and bake [180] until cooked through.[about 30 mins]
Cool and freeze on parchment paper lined trayss. when solid place in snaplock bag.
Cook from frozen by 'nuking' for a couple of minutes. :yum:Makes about 3 doz

I was wondering what the heck beef nuggets were until I read your recipe and realized that it's another name for what we call meat balls over here in my neck of the woods :o :o :o

Sounds delicious. what does the TVP do for it -- texture??

yep, tends to take up some of the moisture i think..stops all the cheese from pouring out and tastes yum! We have meatballs too, but i make these in between the size of a burger and a meatball..my kids love them and they're great chopped up in my morning omelette.
