Hello I am new to this site and see that there is alot of low carb foods out here. Does anyone have a list of low carb products right off hand they can e-mail me, my address is peachygirl52699~yahoo.com??? My mind is wondering how am I going to find all this stuff at the grocery store. I am starting the induction phase, so I can only have 20 cabs in a day. :help: :help: :help:

TIA

No, there isn't a list. And if I might offer you some advice, don't start using them until you absolutely can't stand missing some high carb food that you used to eat.

Many of the so called "LC products" aren't that low carb. Some of the latest ones have transfats. And many of the earlier ones have sugar alcohols.

Despite what the label may say, they're ALL a bad idea for Induction. Sugar alcohols have stalled MANY people here. Just do a search for those words. Again, despite the label, many people believe that you NEED to count at least half of the Sug. ALc. carbs.

The whole idea of Induction is to learn to eat differently. It's called "doing a CLEAN Induction" where you ONLY eat what's on the list. (If you haven't read the book, then go to www.atkins.com and click on "how to do Atkins" to get the list of foods.)

DO you want to lose the MOST POSSIBLE during Induction? Or will you settle for "losing some" because you use the 'products'.

The best low carb foods are:
meat, poultry, fish
cheese, cream, butter, oil
salad greens
LC veggies

What else do you need? Keep to eating REAL FOOD for as long as possible. That's what the BIG LOSERS around this board have done.

I hope you'll be a great success.
