Just had some blood results back from GP, I have to go back in 6 weeks for repeats. Thyroids all appeared within range but the strange results were.

Pottasium was low and albumin was low???? any ideas why? Are there any low carb foods that are rich in Pottasium?

I know nuts are potassium rich and so are sardines. It is really common amongst low carbers it struggle with low potassium, and at times, low calcium. I don't know about the other. Try taking a supplement like One-a-day Carbsmart, which accounts for the expected lack.

avocadoes are really yummy and really high in potassium, a whole avocado[the little black ones] has about 8 grams of carbs and 1,200 milligrams of potassium! Brocolli has 405 milligrams of potassium in a cup and green, leafy vegetables are a great source as well.Cantaloupe, berries and nuts, especially almonds are good too.

Low potassium can be due to drugs that increase urination.

Low albumin can be caused by malnutrition, too much water in the body, liver or kidney disease, severe injury or major bone fractures and slow healing over a long period of time. Low albumin can cause swelling of your body.
