I was watching one of the "home shopping channels" today and they had a 2-hour segment on Low-carb eating... and I got some steak burgers w/cheddar cheese, whole grain penne pasta, and low-carb sugar free cheesecake... I was so excited when I ordered them. I am moving into day 12 and when phase 2 starts I am going to be so happy to indulge in some of the "good" carbs.....

Just be careful! I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but you are only supposed to introduce one new thing a week - you shouldn't introduce cheesecake (which is likely too high fat for SBD) with artificial sweeteners, whole grain penne all at once. I would suggest you start with something less dangerous - like fruit. Or if you are really crawing for the pasta, the penne, but not the cheese cake. If you look around here, many of us did the mistake of starting phase 2 too fast - one new ingredient introduced once a day, once every week - not faster than that!

I have to agree with Monika4. We are all different and I was able to add things back faster, but I would steer clear of the cheesecake. In fact, I stay clear of anything touted as "low-carb". It usually has other stuff in it that I don't eat.
