Hi, new to the forum, new to the candida thing too, I haven't even heard of it til I looked up info on frequent yeast infections (10 in one year!) I'm not diabetic so my dr was puzzled why i was having all these yeast infections and otc medicine does not work for me only difucan (sp) even then it wil still come back, also what i thought was kinda wierd was my dr said I also am lacking the good yeast and for this she prescribes yogurt! which i was eating, and doing all the things to try to eliminate the prob nothing worked. So decided to investigate myself and found out about candida, turns out I have ALOT of the symptoms, i also have been to an allergist I'm mostly allergic to all kinds of molds and yeast duh. so i was suppose to eliminate the cheese and other moldy foods, that was a year ago and i didn't do it because it was so hard, its been a year and like i said 10 infections in one yr was enough to convince me to go on a candida diet, been on it for 4 days now.
Alot of my symptoms have been on full force the last 3 days almost cant stand it but i'm hanging in there I hear your symptoms can get worse when starting, so i'm hopeful. I am also going to try oOo since I read here a lot of people had success with it.
