I am on the no iodine diet and im having a hard time, im sick of chicken and rice. Any recipes or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know if ketchup is o.k. every time i call to find out if the salt is iodized Del Monte is closed.

I think that all salt sold in North America is iodized unless it says otherwise. You could call a health food store to find out. I don't know where you are but some of our hospitals sell special food for special diets in Toronto.

I guess you have searched the net with google.com to find out what can be eaten?

I've had that scan for bumps in my thyroid - turned out to be nothing. I hope it will for you too.
