I just love it and it feels so good to have finally found the answer...

I think back to all those wasted years of yoyo diets and the money, time, & energy wasted.

SBD is not a "diet" to me, as it's a plan that motivates me, inspires me, pushes me, and that makes reaching my goals easy.

I have went down 6 sizes and I'm now in a size 10, and those are gettin' loose! With anything else, I would have already started going back up and gaining.

SB has taught me and continues to teach me how to make changes and apply healthy choices to my daily life and stick with it.

What an awesome adventure I get to take daily.
When I forget sometimes and feel blue, I put those tight size 16's jeans on again and watch them fall to my ankles! :D
That is the only thing I have saved from the "old me."
Gives "A Kick In The Pants" a whole new meaning!

I also love the fact that I don't have to deprive myself.
Adding healthy complex carbs and keepin' an eye out that I don't over do it
works great for me. I have had to learn how to cook all over again, but have enjoyed it every step of the way.
I love to invent new recipes and then feel fantastic that I changed something from unhealthy to healthy!

This journey has blessed my mind, moods, attitude, spirit and life!

10 things I love about SBD are:

1. In less than 6 months I've lost 47 lbs and 7" off of my waist. It's gone fast and has really been painless.

2. I love the food choices that are available to me and I never feel deprived...I've never felt like I was on a diet.

3. I've learned how to eat correctly and have learned that I love whole unprocessed food...I don't miss the other stuff I used to eat at all.

4. With the weight loss I've become more active and am able to enjoy activities like mountain hiking that were becoming difficult before the weight loss.

5. I am healthier than I've been in many many years.

6. New clothes...I used to think I just didn't like shopping for clothes...it was the weight...now I love getting new clothes and have replaced my entire wardrobe.

7. I like the comments I get from folks I haven't seen for a while and can't believe the difference.

8. SBD has changed my life and I would never go back to how I used to eat. No more sugar, processed foods, white flour products, potatoes, and other sweets I used to live on.

8. I love the fact that this WOE is something that my entire family has embraced. DW has lost 2 dress sizes from 10 to 8. My 22 year old DD has lost 2 inches from her waist and 18 year old DD is eating healthier than ever. None of them really needed to lose weight but have become more defined during this process.

9. Its good to know now that I'm on Phase III I can occaissionally slip up a bit and it isn't the end of the world. I just get back on plan ASAP.

10. It's great to not be called "Big Guy" and such. I'm a normal sized guy now. I'm not the one sporting 47 lbs of additional baggage.

Here, Here! That is exactly the way I feel about Atkins. I haven't felt this good in years, and I have only lost 34 pounds, but those 34 pounds have made a big difference in my outlook on life and my self esteem, not to mention that this wol is so easy. I just wish that I had started it years ago. Peg
