I am having my wisdom teeth pulled, and I was told I will be on a liquid diet for a few days. Any suggestions? I am worried that I will go back to milk shakes and Jamba Juice.
Thanks.

Ouch ouch ouch - I'm sorry you've got to have that done - I really don't envy you!!!! I would make yourself up some soups - there's some really great recipies on the atkins site - my gallery also has one for cream of chicken soup - it's soooooooo scrummy!!
Also, what about berries mixed with cream and ice in the blender - this would make a great LC shake?
I wish you all the best - and there's no reason to fall back on milkshake and the like - you can blend many a thing down to get scrummy natural liquid foods.

Broth with shredded radishes or thin sliced green onions (I think that recovering from something like this you shouldn't worry so much about fat.. you need to keep your calories up if you are only doing liquid so if you are feeling really hungry I would add some half and half or cream to your broth too)
Yogurt smoothies made with 1 cup of milk (I use soy but use whatever you would use for a milk), 4 oz yogurt, 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries or strawberries, 1 TBL light cream cheese, 1 packet of splenda, 4 to 6 ice cubes depending on how thick you want it. (Just DON"T use berries with large seeds like raspberries or blackberries or you will be sorry!)
Dreamfields pasta is nice and squishy even though it's not liquid you might try it for one of your first solid foods when you add them back.
Well goodluck with your surgery, hope it goes well and you have a speedy recovery.
