Hi,
New to this site.
I've been taking OoO 2x25mg caps/day for the last 3 weeks.
I have noticed that I have become EXTREMELY bloated during this time and a few other people I know who have been taking this have had the same reaction.
Can anyone please help me and tell me what I am doing wrong. I have had a look through some of the other posts but I'm not having much luck with any ideas. :help: :help: :help:
I haven't been doing anything differently to what I was doing before except the oil capsules.
I also noticed that my period which is usually heavy and very bad cramping was almost non-existant (mind you, it still lasts as long).
Thanks!!
Judy

i believe you are experiencing a yeast die off effect. there is a huge thread on oil of oregano - here is the link

i take ooo every day at least 3 gel caps 3 x's a day. i understand that ooo has antibiotic properties and is recommended for people that have too much yeast in their systems. so you will get bloated due to the yeast being killed off by the anitbiotic properites in the ooo.
read the thread above there are about 40 pages(last time i looked at that thread) of posts directly related to ooo and people's experiences with it.
hope this helps.

You may be experiencing these changes not just cause of taking OoO but because your are dieting.
When I started taking OoO I took it for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. The reason for this was so that my body would not get use to it and lose it's effects. Get what I mean.
But I later found that on my off weeks I was always so bloated and didn't like it. So I now only take one week off a month.
There is no rule on how you should take it as far as cycleing goes. Do what you find is best working for you.
Experiment a little, that's what I did.
Keep reading, keep learning, keep sharing. We are here to support you.
Cheers.

Thanks for getting back to me.
How much do you take when you are taking it during your 'on' weeks?
I have just been so frustrated as I was 135 and now back up to 140 and the only change was the OoO.
Should I take it in drop form as opposed to capsules instead.
BTW, where in the UK are you based?
Thanks,
Judy

Hi! I too an very bloated from time to time and I am taking ooo. But I think it is just what I might have eaten more then the ooo. Look at your salt intake in the foods you are eating. Check for the words sodium in the ingredients. That is a big bloating factor. I take two capsules of ooo a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I have been taking it for about a month and I haven't decided if I am going to cycle it or not. I hope this helps!Q Give a holler if you have anymore questions!!
